Lynn H. Hahn's Obituary
Lynn H. Hahn, age 90 was born in Beaverton, Michigan on August 7, 1931, to the late Charles B. and Estella J. (Martin) Hahn and passed away on June 9, 2022. Along with his parents Lynn was preceded in death by his wife Beatrice in 2007, and his second love in life, Donna Anderson, in 2020; brother, James Hahn. Survivors include two children, Tim (Joanne) Hahn, and Rebecca J. (Jason) Robbins; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; brother, Royal Gordon (Marilyn) Hahn of St Louis, Michigan; sister Betty Mayer of Connecticut
Lynn was a veteran of the United States Army serving during the Korean War. He worked as a chemist and held patents in the use of bromine, used as a fire retardant. He was a Racquetball Champion. In 1984 he was the first inductee into the Michigan Racquetball Hall of Fame and was inducted into the Muskegon Sports Hall of Fame in 2010.
Lynn was a longtime member of the Montague United Methodist Church, 8555 Cook Street in Montague where a funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 15, 2022. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service from 10:00 a.m. until the service at 11:00 a.m.
