The world bids farewell to Mack B. McKenzie of Muskegon, Michigan, departing on March 27, 2026 at the age of 71. He is survived by: his wife Suzette; his children, Mack James McKenzie of Muskegon and Meghan McKenzie of Muskegon; his stepchildren, Terry Brady (Kendra) of Muskegon, Benjamin Brady of Muskegon and Whitney Holmes (JD) of Muskegon; and his sister Brenda Cwiakala of North Carolina. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Mack leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Mack may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
Mack's laugh could fill a room. He found his greatest joy in the simple moments—spending time with family, friends, and his dogs; lending a helping hand whenever it was needed, and enjoying chocolate cherry chip desserts. By trade, he was an electrician, taking pride in working with his hands and building things. He felt most at peace outdoors, whether hunting, boating, or playing on the water. Music was always close to his heart, and he was known as a great dancer who never missed a chance to enjoy a song.
A celebration of life will be planned for the summer. Please send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family. Memorial contributions can be made to the American Heart Association.
