Margaret Virginia Westfall's Obituary
Margaret Virginia (Mayo) Westfall age 98 was born on January 2, 1919 in Muskegon to the late Alonzo I. and Philura C. (Cottrell) Mayo and passed away at the Harbor Hospice Poppen Residence on January 31, 2017. Margaret was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Eugene Frank Westfall and a daughter, Denise Ruth (Mark) Mason. She is survived by two daughters, Sandra Dianne (Dave Gutierrez) McGoran and Virginia Jean (Jerry) May; five grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Belva Mayo. Margaret was also preceded in death by her seven siblings, Donald Mayo, Milton (Minnie) Mayo, Frederick (Mercedes) Mayo, Floyd (Eleanor) Mayo, John (Bernice) Mayo, Douglas Mayo, and Ethel (Bill) Wood. Margaret was a licensed cosmetologist in the State of Michigan and worked for many years as a beautician out of her home. According to her wishes cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 18, 2017 at Shoreline Memorial Services Chapel. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to Harbor Hospice Poppen Residence.
