Maricela Alejandra Garcia's Obituary
Maricela Alejandra Garcia was born on December 27, 2014 and was called home to heaven with the angels on February 1, 2019 losing her battle to Ovarioleukodystrophy. Maricela is survived by her mother Holly Johanna Alexander, her step-father, Jose Guzman Garcia, her brother, Alejandro Jose Garcia, her sister Marisol Sofia Garcia; grandmother, Kimberly Alexander; great-grandmother Louise Mitchell; many aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was known for her strength in battling Ovarioleukodystrophy, her beautiful smile, shiny blonde hair, bright blue eyes and long legs (as her cousin Morelia would say), sticking her tongue out in pictures and strong hugs. Maricela will be missed deeply for all this and much more. The family would like to Thank Hospice of Grand Rapids, Michigan for their support, dedication, listening and understanding along with all who helped. A Benefit for Maricelas Family as well as a Celebration of Life Gathering will be held on Saturday, March 23, 2019 from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Lakeside Eagles, located at 2355 Sherman Blvd. Norton Shores, Michigan 49441.
