Rest in the Lord🙏🏾🕊

Marion was not just my mother-in-law, but a wonderful person and friend. She gave my daughter her first diamonds as an infant and we laughed when I told how that child pulled one earring out and tossed it in the middle of a store and I was down on my hands and knees looking for it. We both held the same position while working but at different locations. We shared many laughs when family members would swear they had just spoken to one of us and it would actually turn out to be the other Inspector Palmer. Marion welcomed me with open arms and love and I have never ever forgotten. Rest in paradise Marion and soar with the angels when you please.

Though we've lost Marion, the big cousin with a big heart and undeniable bravery, let's not forget her knack for sharing kindness and courageous acts. She warms the chilly void left behind with an endearing memory of laughter twinkling in our hearts. Both an inspiration and a marvel; goodbye might be sorrowful, but Marion wouldn't want anything less than smiles at sunset.
Prayers to the family, she was an amazing woman of God. "To God Be the Glory" Rest Well, She Earned Her Wings...

Marion was a great inspiration in my life. She had a gentle spirit, great wisdom and kindness. She was always ready to listen and guide me in my life and career. I will miss her.
When I first started at in 1976 she trained me up front and in the bubble. She continued in my life always talking tome about how things were going and laughing at shared memories. I know the last few years were difficult. I'm glad you are at peace.
Marion was a true inspiration to so many that worked for the MDOC and were guided by her words of wisdom and gentle disposition. Always willing to lend a hand and so loved and admired by all who knew her, including myself.
I met Marion Palmer well over 40yrs ago, before I began working for the MDOC; as she was friends with Maxine Lenear, Head Start Director, who my boss at the time. Marion was always soft spoken, but her voice and expressions let you know that she was all about the business. She was kind hearted and easy to talk to. I never heard her speak an unkind word about anyone. She was truly a great role model and mentor for those of us who walked in her footsteps at the prison complex's. I will forever carry in my heart, the memories of our many conversations and times together. She made an indelible impression on me and I am truly blessed for having had the privilege of being in her presence. Rest well . ❤️🙏🏽 Mary Townsel-Munday
