Mark Edward O'Neal, age 69, passed away on Monday, December 6, 2021. He was born in Muskegon on July 21, 1952, to Darrel and Casimera "Kay" O'Neal. Mark is survived by his wife of 37 years, Mary; son, Ryan (Heather) O'Neal of Fruitport; 3 stepchildren, David, Lynn and Andrew Zimmerman, all of Muskegon; 6 grandchildren, Leigh (Benjamin) Petersen, Kelsy, Drake and Jerzie Zimmerman, Caleb and Callie O'Neal; 2 great-grandchildren, Riley Petersen and Braelynn Zimmerman; 3 brothers, Walter (Debbie) O'Neal, Richard (Colleen) O'Neal and Darrel (Mary) O'Neal; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother David O'Neal; father and mother-in-law, Earl and Alice Anderson.
Mark was a U.S. Navy Veteran of the Vietnam War. He had retired from Consumers Concrete after 28 years. Mark was a member of the Polish Union, Lithuanian Club and Polish Falcons. He was an avid hunter and fisherman who loved to golf.
