Mark "Mikee" Pickard's Obituary
Mark "Mikee" Pickard Jr. age 68 was born on October 20, 1953, in Muskegon and passed away on February 25, 2022. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mark Pickard Sr. and LaVonne (Richard) Bulson; and his first wife Hope. Survivors include, his wife Ruth Pickard, children, David (Katie Smith) Pickard, Margie (Danielle) Farber, Matt (Dawn) Pickard, Martha (Alan Hershberger) Pickard, Jayson (Dee Hutchins) Wade, and Aaron (Bonnie) Wade; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; siblings, Edward Pickard, Lyla McElory, Jeaniece (Bruce) Striker, and Bill Bulson; several nieces and nephews.
Mark was a veteran of the United States Navy and was employed at Slaters Farms in Holton. He was a race car driver for many years at Thurnderbird Raceway and thoroughly enjoyed working on the racers. According to his wishes cremation has taken place.
Mikee and Ruth attend Faith Baptist Church in Fremont, located at 7729 West 48th Street, Fremont, Michigan where a Celebration of Life Service will be held on Thursday, March 3, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Memorial contributions may be directed to the family in care of Ruth Pickard.
