Mark Victor Wilkins' Obituary
Mark Victor Wilkins, age 68, of Whitehall died on January 28, 2021 of COVID-19. Mark was preceded in death by his parents Lloyd and Joyce Wilkins and brother Bruce Wilkins of Whitehall. He is survived by his sisters, Wendy Wilkins of Grand Rapids, MI and Pat (Bob) Whitaker of Holland, MI; nephews, Paul and Stephanie Whitaker (Andrew) of Chicago, Matthew and Teri Whitaker (Ian, Joel, Elise, Elliot, Joshua) of Holland, MI; niece Theresa Whitaker of Kalamazoo, MI; numerous cousins. Mark is also survived by his long-time companion, Annette Neubaur-Jukich.
Mark graduated from Whitehall High School and earned a bachelor's degree in Heavy Equipment Management from Ferris State University. He served in the Merchant Marines and then worked driving for Meekhof Trucking and Rieth Riley Trucking until his death. Mark was a member of the Whitehall American Legion and White Lake Eagles.
Visitation with masks and social distancing will be from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 3, 2021 at Shoreline Memorial Services - Whitehall Chapel, 816 S. Mears Ave. Whitehall.
Interment will be next to his parents in Freeport Cemetery, Freeport, Michigan. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to the Whitehall American Legion, Algot Johnson Post #69 or the White Lake Eagles.
