Marlene Kay Cooley's Obituary
Marlene Cooley, age 51, was born on April 18, 1975, in Muskegon, Michigan to the late James F. Jr. and Patricia A. (Short) Cooley and passed away on July 18, 2026, after recently being diagnosed with brain cancer.
Survivors include her siblings, Bonnie Stulp, James (Naomy) Cooley, Billy Cooley, Herb (Chris) Cooley, Charlotte (Dennis) Olson, Bobbi-Jo (Tim) Burns, Tricia Cooley; numerous nieces and nephews. Marlene retired from Meijer after nearly 30 years of service. Loved by all, Marlene was a kind and loving sister, aunt, and friend who enjoyed traveling, cruising and spoiling her nieces and nephews.
According to her wishes cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, July 27, 2026, at Shiloh Tabernacle, located at 460 E. Tyler Road, Muskegon, Pastor Verne Wright officiating.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be in Twin Lake Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. following the service.
