Marvin R. Edmondson's Obituary
Marvin Ray Edmondson, age 90, devoted husband, father, and grandfather, passed away on Wednesday, November 29, 2017. He was born in Grand Rapids, MI on August 25, 1927 to James and Orpha Edmondson. Marvin was retired from Rieth - Riley Asphalt Paving. He enjoyed gardening, especially his tomatoes. Marvin looked forward to hunting Morel Mushrooms with his family. He will be remembered as a strong, kind, gentle and loving family man who served as a role model for all that knew him. Marvin is survived by his beloved wife of 65 years, Clara; 4 children, Ron, Greg (Becky), Michelle VanFossen (Mark) and Troy; grandchildren, Tanya (Chuck) Wiersma, Chad (Sarah) Lynn, Tommy (David) and Shane VanFossen, Allyson (Craig) Goldberg, Austin (Tina), Abigail, Joshua, Jami (David) Funk, Nathan and Alexas; 21 great-grandchildren; special neighbors, Ken and Donna Plichta; special K-9 companion, Quincy. Marvin was preceded in death by 3 grandchildren, Sean, Travis and Marciann Edmondson; 2 brothers, Don and Max and by K-9 companion, Indy. Memorial contributions can be made to Harbor Hospice.
