Mary Ellen McIntyre's Obituary
Mary Ellen McIntyre age 79 was born on July 18, 1942, in Muskegon, Michigan to the late Harvey A. and Mary Ann (Westerman) Goranson and passed away on May 12, 2022. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years, John McIntyre; and sister, Nancy Ward. Survivors include her sister, Jean (Jim) Rackes of Grand Rapids, several nieces, and nephews. Mary Ellen s\worked as a nurse at Hackley Hospital and was a longtime active member of Samuel Lutheran Church. According to her wishes cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 14, 2022, at Harbor Grace Lutheran Church located at 1132 W. Southern Ave. Muskegon with Reverend Jane Mountain officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to Harbor Grace Lutheran Church.
