Was so sorry to hear Aunt Mary joined her siblings. She was the last sibling on either side for us . . . Aunt Mary had such a joyful spirit - always brought the fun! My thoughts are with Uncle Jack.

Beautiful, beautiful Mary! She was a good friend and neighbor. It was always a nice break to sit out in front of her house and share a bottle of pop and good conversation. Sending my prayers and sympathy to each member of the family. I can almost hear Mary singing with the angels as heaven has become more joyful with her delightful spirit. May your memories bring you comfort.
Some people make an impact in your life - that is never forgotten. Often times there family is never aware of the specifics. They know their loved one is special but often arent aware of the depth of the wonderfulness that they are and that they share. Mary is such a person in my life. I went to work as a home health aide at Whitehall Manor when I was 17 years old. Mary found out I was going to be a nurse and took me under her wing - she taught me how to do the worst wound care cases. She involved me in any special nursing events that came up. I love her stories - she told one about how her teenage son was so much taller than her so that when she had to yell at him she climbed onto a chair. She said they usually ended up laughing. Years later when I had a 64 teenage son I remembered this and I climbed on a chair to yell at him in a tense shouting much and we too dissolved into laughter. She kept contact with me throughout my nursing career and always expressed how proud she was of me. Later I moved into the house across the street from her and we became neighbors. Lastly in her later years when she was retired and using a walker even - she would walk across the road with that walker to my house and give me an injection every day for five days a month for 6 months while I was undergoing chemo. I have always loved her dearly including lovng her faith in Jesus her Lord and Savior. I take comfort knowing I shall get to see her in heaven. My sympathy to all the family that she loved so much!
