Mary A. Warden's Obituary
Mary A. (DeYoung) Warden aged 80 years, passed away on September 2, 2025. Mary was born on December 22, 1944, to the late Albert and Katie DeYoung. Mary was an administrative secretary for the Muskegon Public Schools Board of Education for her entire career. She was a member of First Lutheran Church, an avid quilter and she made many beautiful quilts, along with being a member of PALS.
Mary is survived by her sisters, Elsie Klint, Ruth (Bill) Baxter and sister-in-law, Willodean DeYoung; many nieces and nephews. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by a sister, Jean Galdeen; brother, William DeYoung; brothers-in-law Charles Klint and Bernard Galden,
A Memorial Service for Mary will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 12, 2025, at First Lutheran Church, with Pastor Bill Uetricht officiating. The church is located at 1206 Whitehall Road, Muskegon, Michigan 49445. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to the Harbor Hospice Foundation or First Lutheran Church. Envelopes will be available at the service.
