Condolences to all the Beardsley family. I knew Mike almost his whole life. He was all of the things that make up a real human being. He was funny, loved a good laugh, sociable, interested in people, treated his friends warmly and enjoyed their company, could whistle crazy loud, had a unique way with words, and was often just fun to be around. Someone recently reminded me that he had a nice smile. He could sometimes be quiet and contemplative and liked his solitude. Mike didn't easily suffer fools and you knew when he wasn't happy about something. Lots of times his anger was immediately followed by laughter. It was sometimes hilarious watching him fussing with one of his friends or sibs. I always liked that about him. In younger years he enjoyed fishing, playing baseball, target shooting, and until recently, was a hell of a cornhole player. (I would have a hard time beating him because he'd have me laughing so hard from him talking smack). He was a good neighbor to my parents and they always liked him. Michael lived his life on his own terms and often kept his own counsel. I'll really miss him and I'm sure that when his friends remember him it will be with laughter and lots of stories of the old days. Bye brother. We'll be seein ya. Christian Stone
