Michael R. Lake's Obituary
Michael Ray Lake, age 61, passed away on Monday, August 5, 2019. He was born in Greenville, MI on February 8, 1958 to Russell and Mattie Lake. Michael is survived by his wife of 37 years, Beverly; 2 daughters, Michelle (Nathan) Hancock and Jessica (Jeremy) Shull, both of Muskegon; 5 grandchildren, Michael Lake, Darwin Shull, Madelynn Shull, Nathan Hancock, Jr., and Noah Hancock; mother, Mattie O'Grady of Muskegon. He was preceded in death by a brother, Glenn Lake; father, Russell Lake and stepfather, Kenneth O'Grady.
Michael worked as a process technician at Concord Plastics, Grand Rapids Controls and most recently at KAM Plastics for the past 8 years. Michael enjoyed wood working making many beautiful pieces.
A Memorial Service will he held on Saturday, August 17, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Lakes Community Church of the Nazarene in Muskegon. Visitation will be held on Saturday beginning at 9:30 AM prior to the service at the church. Burial at Moorland Township Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, Shriners Hospitals for Children or Devos Children's Hospital.
