Montie W. Huntley's Obituary
Montie W. Huntley, age 61 was born on August 30, 1962, and passed away on September 1, 2023. Montie was preceded in death by his mother Roseanna Huntley, a sister, Tina (Dave) Hunt. Survivors include his father, Herbert Huntley; children, Jeffery Musk, Jamie (DeQuarius Long) Musk, Jennifer Huntley, and Jayden Huntley; grandchildren, Chasity, Lexie, Liana, Elizabeth, Brandon, and William; sisters, Helen Whelpley, Diana (Bob) Combs, and Margaret (Kirk) Rose; along with the mother of his children and ex-wife, Tina Huntley; several nieces and nephews.
Montie retired from the City of Muskegon Heights Public Works Department. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting, fishing, and nature. He enjoyed long car rides with his children and grandchildren, Cremation has taken place. Montie was a member of Evanston Ave. Baptist Church, located at 1188 Evanston Avenue, Muskegon, Michigan 49442 where a Celebration of Life Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, September 18, 2023, with a luncheon to follow.
