Morris Ivan Bon's Obituary
Morris I. "Mike" Bon, age 92, was born on June 5, 1933, in Muskegon, Michigan to the late Floyd Ray and Mary Belle (Gregory) Bon and passed away on Saturday, November 8, 2025. Along with his parents Mike was preceded in death by his wife of nearly 70 years, Nancy Bon; his son Lee Alan Bon; three siblings, Dolores Mikolich, Lawrence Bon and Gary Bon.
Mike is survived by his beloved sister, Donna Bon; children, Vicki (Randy) Kinsey; Colleen Tague, Larry Bon and Michelle Bon; several grand; great-grand and great-great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Mike was a veteran of the United States Army serving during the Korean War. He was the last constable in Ravenna Township and later retired from the paper mill after over 30 years of service. Mike and Nancy are long-time active members of Connection Point Church, 2270 S. Mill Iron Road where a funeral service will be held on Friday, November 14, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. Pastor Aaron Gregory officiating. Visitation will be held, also at the church, from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the service at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be next to his wife Nancy in Egelston Township Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to West Michigan Veterans Inc. envelopes will be available at the service.
