Morton "Morty" Loss, age 59 was born in Muskegon on October 9, 1960 and passed away while at his happy place, Leisure Haven Campground on July 24, 2020. Morty is survived by his wife of over 20 years, Jamie Loss, daughter, Amanda (Leon) Parker; granddaughter, Darcy Parker; Father, Charles Loss; siblings, Jeff (Maria) Loss Jason (Deanna) Loss, Terry Schleben, Verna (Flash) Lytle, Tim Thompson, Caryn (Craig) Dageenakis; father-in-law, John Lorenz; sisters-in-law, Brandy Thomas, Lorraine Branch-Frost; his beloved, "Peoples" (fur babies), along with several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Jean Loss; two siblings, Tim Loss and Kathi Baron; mother-in-law, Jane Ruel; brother-in-law, Dan Thomas. Morty was an avid University of Michigan Fan. He was a longtime employee of Herman Miller. He enjoyed golfing, and bowling where he achieved a 300 game, but his true passion was spending time camping. According to his wish's cremation has taken place and a private family gathering will be held. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to Pound Buddies.
