Myrna Jean Hartwell's Obituary
Myrna Jean Hartwell, a caring wife, mother and grandmother, born on February 9, 1937 in Muskegon, Michigan to the late Steve and Margaret (Vogt) Plichta, passed away at home under the loving care of her family and Harbor Hospice on April 9, 2018 at the age of 81. Myrna is survived by her children Charles Goodrich, Steven Goodrich, Margie (Paul) Bos; grandchildren, Steven Charles Goodrich and Kyle Jacob Bos; siblings, John (Rose) Plichta, Steve (Jackie) Plichta, Jim Plichta, Margaret (Ken) Kinney; sister in law Brenda Plichta; brother in law, Pete Spaniolo. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband and best friend, Charles "Charlie" Goodrich; siblings Carol Spaniolo, Charlotte Leicht and Charles Plichta; sister in law, Kathy Plichta. Myrna was retired from GTE, was an avid reader who enjoyed both traveling and watching her favorite game shows, but most especially spending time with her family. The family would also like to thank Angie Sutton from Harbor Hospice for taking such special care of our mother, she truly is an angel. According to her wishes cremation has taken place and private family services will be held later. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Harbor Hospice Foundation.
