Nancy Eileen Matthews' Obituary
Nancy E. Matthews age 66 was born in Muskegon on September 24, 1947 to the late Arthur Orrin and Sarah Frances (Shaw) Dean and passed away on June 19, 2014. Along with her parents Nancy was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Matthews. Nancy is survived by two children, Jeff Zachariason and Kim Ward; four grandchildren, Megan (fianc? Nate) Zachariason, Brandon (Kayla) Brown, Lauren Brown, Lindzey Brown; great-grandson, Braydon Brown; four siblings, Deborah VanWyk, Kevin (Robin) Dean, Brenda (Robert) Moler, Steven (Theresa) Dean; special friend Kittye Harmon and especially loving cousin, Sue Hilliard, along with several nieces and nephews. Nancy was a member of the first graduating class at Mona Shores High School and enjoyed being a member of the Mona Shores Marching Band and took part in many Alumni Band presentations & activities. She was very family oriented and enjoyed hosting family events. According to her wishes cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, July 8, 2014 at 10:00 AM at Harvest Bible Chapel, 225 E. Exchange St., Spring Lake, MI 49456.
