Nancy Modjeska's Obituary
Nancy Modjeska, age 60 was born in Muskegon on December 31, 1953 to the late Morris and Lucille Smedley and passed away at the Harbor Hospice Poppen Residence on May 12, 2014. Nancy is survived by her children, Rebecca (Jason) Eagle, Patricia (Robert) Dillard, Heather Showers, Mary (Ryan) Coffey, Crystal (Khalil) Ahmad, Lacy (Chris) Doctor; grandchildren, Vincent Birmingham, Zachary Birmingham, Julianna Birmingham, Jessica McCoullogh, Brennen DeLonge, Brent Showers, Elise Showers, Laura Showers, Brittany Showers, Ethan Coffey, Preston Coffey, Anthony Doctor, Alayna Doctor, Aaisha Ahmad, Ammar Ahmad, Aasia Ahmad; brothers and sisters, David (Jeanie) Smedley, Linda Lasser, Terry Smedley, Donna (Thomas) Barnes, Brenda (Rodney) Rogers, Jerry Smedley and Janet (Ray) Lydens. Along with her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by a sister, Judy Keenan; and extended family members, Michael Barnes, Christan Birmingham, and Misty Smedley. Nancy attended Oakridge High School and had worked for Apparel Master. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, May 17, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Turning Point Church, 1253 E. Hile Road. Memorial contributions may be directed to Harbor Hospice Poppen Residence or to the family to help with funeral expenses.
