Nathan A. Barnes' Obituary
Nathan A. Barnes, age 46 was born in Muskegon on July 22, 1977, to Ronnie and Barbara (LeBaron) Barnes and passed away on January 14, 2024. Nathan is survived by his parents, Ronnie and Barb; his wife, Tomi Barnes; three children, Breanna, Jonah, and Brodie; grandchildren, Draven, Benson, Cami Joy; siblings, Ronnie Jr. (Teresa) Barnes, Kellie (Joe) Raap, Matthew Barnes; several nieces, nephews and extended family members.
Nathan enjoyed the outdoors communing with nature and all the small creatures he encountered. He loved to travel, especially to Maui where he and Tomi were married. He enjoyed a variety of different types of cheese, but a grilled cheese in particular.
A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held on Saturday, February 10, 2024, from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the Algot Johnson American Legion Post 69, located at 803 Colby Street, in Whitehall. Interment will be in Egelston Township Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to the family in care of his mother, Barbara Barnes.
