Oren A. Watts' Obituary
Oren A. Watts was born on February 3, 1933 to the late Martha and Oren Watts and passed away on February 4, 2016 at the age of 83. Oren was preceded in death by his wife of 43 years, Betty Watts; step father, Wesley Reed; siblings, David, Richard, Jeanette, and, Caroline. He is survived by his children, Debbie (John) Spencer, Sharon Hirons, Oren Joseph (Lois) Watts, Jim (Connie) Watts, and Mary Crum; 25 grandchildren;27 great-grandchildren; siblings, Lorraine (Dale) Belter, Marilyn Reed, Wesley Robert (Pam) Reed. Oren was retired from General Motors and was a member of the UAW Millwrights Union. He was a veteran of the United States Army serving during the Korean War. According to his wishes cremation has taken place and a Memorial Gathering will be held at 12:00 noon, on Monday, February 8, 2016 at the VFW Post 2326 located at 20 North First Street, Grand Haven. Inurment will take place in Nunica Cemetery next to his wife Betty. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to Harbor Hospice. Arrangements by Shoreline Memorial Service, Muskegon.
