Patricia Ann Chambers' Obituary
Chambers, Patricia Ann North Muskegon Patricia Ann Chambers died at home on July 10, 2014 with her husband of 62 years, Robert and her family by her side. Born on November 14, 1932 to the late William and Irene (Robarge) Westerman, Pat is survived by her husband and five children, Janene (Tom) Engelhard of Jenison, Lawrence (Mindy) Chambers, Kathleen (John) Goven, Mary Margaret Kennedy and Laura Hammond all of Muskegon. She leaves 12 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren along with many nieces and nephews. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by 3 brothers, James, John and William Westerman and her nephew, Michael Westerman. Patricia enjoyed many interests and talents, especially baking and cooking. She loved reading, playing cards, golfing and traveling. She was an accomplished stain glass artist, excellent seamstress and spent many hours researching our family genealogy. She also enjoyed gardening and was a member of the Muskegon Herb Society. Patricia retired from the Muskegon Heights School System after 30 years as the school secretary at Edgewood Elementary. She also enjoyed several years working for E'leet Estate Sales. Patricia's spirit and joy and her love of life has left a lasting imprint on the hearts of her family. She was an extraordinary woman; her smile and laughter, her caring ways and her fabulous Lemon Meringue Pies will be forever cherished. The visitation with the family will be at Shoreline Memorial Services, 137 E. Laketon Ave., Muskegon on Sunday July 13, 2014 from 4 to 8 p.m. and one hour prior to the service at the church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, July 14, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, 451 S. Getty Street, Muskegon, Fr. Michael Olson officiating.
