Patricia Marie Brown's Obituary
Patricia Marie Brown, age 90 was born on April 23, 1932, in Grand Haven, Michigan to the late Carl and Josephine Carlson and passed away at home under the loving care of her family and Harbor Hospice on June 17, 2022. Along with her parents, Patricia was preceded in death by her husband of nearly 60 years, Donald Brown; four siblings, Roger Carlson, Carl Carlson, Joseph Carlson, and Leona Schlievert. Survivors include her children, Karen Brown, Christopher (Jane) Brown, Donald Brown, and Cheryl Schrader; her brother, Richard (Lois) Carlson; eight grandchildren, Nicole, Erik, Joshua, Danielle, Jason, Jill, Stephanie, Zachary; nineteen great-grandchildren; several nieces and a nephew.
Patricia was a homemaker, who enjoyed both cooking, sewing and crafting. Patricia was a longtime member of St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church. According to her wishes cremation has taken place and a graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, June 24, 2022, with Fr. Doug Braun officiating, in Egelston Township Cemetery where she will be interred next to her husband Donald. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Harbor Hospice Foundation, Pound Buddies, or the Noah Project.
