Patricia Ann Cooley's Obituary
Patricia Ann Cooley, age 80, of Whitehall, and formerly of Lakewood Club, was born on September 30, 1944, in Grayling, Michigan to the late Herbert and Carrie (Galloway) Short and passed away at home under the loving care of her family and Harbor Hospice.
Survivors include her children, Bonnie Stulp, James (Naomy) Cooley, Billy Cooley, Herb (Chris) Cooley, Charlotte (Dennis) Olson, Marlene Cooley, Bobbi-Jo (Tim) Burns, Tricia Cooley; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and bonus grandchildren; siblings, William Short and Margarette Welch; in-laws, Robin Cooley, Frank and Patti Cooley, Donald and Debbi Cooley, Audrey Marriott; several nieces and nephews. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of nearly 30 years, James Cooley; granddaughter, Anna Cooley; daughter-in-law, Terri Cooley; sons-in-law, Brian Knapp and Jack Stulp; siblings and spouses, Robert and Carol Short, Sharon Short, George and Diane Short, Ted and Darlene Short, Gene and Margarette Short, Sue and Pete Jones, Charlotte and Bill Cooley, Harry Cooley, Bob and Cindy Cooley, Marlene and Rod Beecham and sister- in-law Wanda Short.
According to her wishes cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, July 7, 2025, at Shiloh Tabernacle, located at 460 E. Tyler Road, Muskegon with Pastor Verne Wright officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be next to her husband James Cooley in Twin Lake Cemetery.
