Patricia Ann Fassett's Obituary
In Loving Memory of Patricia Ann Fassett
October 15, 1938 – January 1, 2026
Patricia Ann Fassett passed away peacefully on January 1, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love, faith, and devotion that will live on through generations. She was a woman whose life radiated love, grace, and quiet strength, making the world a better and more beautiful place simply by being in it. Patricia was beautiful inside and out kind-hearted, selfless, and always willing to help anyone in need. Her presence brought comfort, her words brought peace, and her love brought people together.
Patricia was born on October 15, 1938, in East Chicago, Indiana, and was raised in New Troy, Michigan. She was the beloved daughter of John and Martha Adams and grew up surrounded by love with her brothers, Tommy, Johnny, and Rich Adams, and her sister, Jackie Adams (Dalka).
On December 1, 1961, Patricia married the love of her life, Jerry Fassett. Together they shared 64 wonderful years of marriage, one built on devotion, respect, faith, and unconditional love. Their marriage stood as a beautiful example of commitment and partnership, and through it, Patricia showed her family what true love looks like.
Patricia was a devoted and wonderful mother, passionate, nurturing, and endlessly kind. She devoted her life to her children, always putting their needs before her own and loving them with unwavering strength and tenderness. She and Jerry were blessed with two daughters, Christine and Michelle "Shelly", who were the pride and joy of her life.
Her heart grew even fuller with the arrival of her seven grandchildren: Josh and (Lindsay) Silver; Derrick and (Ashley) Pelfresne; Errin and (Lewis) Currier; Justin Streeter; Nolan and (Heidi) Converse; Kaylee and (Nick) Gundy; and JeriLyn Converse. She was also a deeply proud great-grandmother to twelve great-grandchildren: Haliegh, Lexus, Kaelynn, Christopher, Aiden, Liam, Sophia, Haven, Jessie, Adalynn, Scarlett, and Blake each one held close in her heart.
Patricia was proud of her Polish heritage. She enjoyed cooking, playing bingo, traveling, and cherishing simple moments with those she loved most. Above all else, Patricia loved her family, they were her entire world. Every decision she made and every prayer she whispered was for them. A devoted Catholic, Patricia kept a nightly prayer list, lifting up family, friends, and anyone in need with deep faith and compassion.
Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, John and Martha Adams; her in-laws, George and Winifred Fassett; her brother, Tommy Adams; and her sister, Jackie Adams (Dalka), George (Irene) Fassett and Rodney Fassett, Patricia Adams.
She is survived by her loving husband, Jerry Fassett; her daughters, Christine Streeter and Michelle "Shelly"(David) Converse; Johnny (Freyja) Adams, Rich Adams, Joan Adams, Grace Fassett, her grandchildren; her great-grandchildren; and many wonderful nieces and nephews and friends.
Do widzenia, Patricia Ann Fassett (pronounced doh veed-ZEH-nyah) “until we see each other again.”
