Paul R. Lodholtz's Obituary
Paul R. Lodholtz, age 84 was born on July 22, 1934 in Chase, Michigan to the late Richard J. and Georgene A. Lodholtz and passed away on November 21, 2018. Along with his parents, Paul was preceded in death by his wife, Karen, and son, Dean Lodholtz. Paul is survived by two children, Gail (Glenn) Schneider and Bruce Lodholtz; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Sally Lodholtz; sister Virginia; special friend; Dolores Simmerman. Paul graduated from Sand Lake High School, was a veteran of the United States Army serving 3 years during the Korean War. He retired from the Muskegon Police Department. He retired as a detective, was officer of the year in 1969, and received the Reverence for Law Award from the National Fraternal Order of the Eagles. He was a Life member of both the VFW and Eagles. According to his wish's cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to Harbor Hospice Foundation.
