Phyllis A. Oudsema's Obituary
Phyllis A. Oudsema, age 84, was born on September 22, 1940, in Muskegon, Michigan to the late Elmer and Della (Dykema) Wiitala and passed away on February 15, 2025. Along with her parents, Phyllis was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Ronald Oudsema. Survivors include her children, Doug Oudsema, Deb (Paul) DeNio, Den Oudsema and Don Oudsema; six grandchildren, Tim (Lesley) Adams, Kim (Son) Nguyen, Jon DeNio, Becky DeNio, as well as seven great-grandchildren, Alyssa, Emilee, Jazmine, Megan, Hunter, Miley and Asher.
She and Ron enjoyed camping. Phyllis previously worked for Tuffy Muffler and then at Muskegon Brake until her retirement. She enjoyed watching hummingbirds, and spending time with the ladies in the club.
According to her wishes cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life Gathering will be held on Saturday, March 1, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at Wolf Lake Methodist Church, 378 Visa Terrace, Muskegon, Michigan. Interment will be next to her husband Ron in Egelston Township Cemetery.
