Randal "Randy" Appel's Obituary
Randal S. "Randy" Appel, of Muskegon was born on October 24, 1961, to the late Paul L. and Ardys I. Appel and passed away on September 15, 2024. Along with his parents, Randy was preceded in death by two brothers, John and Dennis. Survivors include his siblings, Nancy (Rob) Woodruff, Terrance Appel, and Shari (Jonathan) DeCou; several nieces and nephews.
Randy attended Orchard View High School and worked for a variety of manufacturing jobs in the Muskegon area. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing, BBQ's and rooting for any of the Detroit based sports teams. Cremation has taken place.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Shoreline Memorial Services, 137 E. Laketon Ave. Muskegon, on Monday, September 23, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. with visitation held from 12:30 p.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m. Interment will be with his brother Dennis and his parents in Oakhurst Cemetery.
