Raymond L. VanSlyke's Obituary
Raymond Leslie VanSlyke, age 72, passed away on Saturday, October 16, 2021. He was born in Muskegon on January 18, 1949, to Raymond and Joyce VanSlyke. Raymond is survived by his wife of 49 years, Evonne; 2 sons, Robert (Lissa) VanSlyke of Allendale, MI, and Jason (Briana) VanSlyke of Idaho; 2 brothers, Terry (Marsha) VanSlyke of Spring Lake and Randy (Brenda) VanSlyke; several nieces and nephews. Raymond was preceded in death by his parents and by a sister, Carol Chamout. Raymond was a Vietnam U.S. Air Force Veteran. He had worked many years at Howmet and had volunteered at the American Red Cross. Raymond was a Shriner and Member of the Montague-Whitehall Masonic Lodge #198.
