Richard M. Grinwis' Obituary
Richard Grinwis, age 60, passed away on Monday, April 4, 2016. He was born in Muskegon on November 18, 1955 to Robert and Lois (Danhoff) Grinwis. Richard is survived by his wife of 32 years, Connie (Leloff); children, Eric (Julie) Grinwis of Muskegon and Melody Grinwis of Muskegon; two grandchildren, Luca and Myles Grinwis; mother, Lois Grinwis of Muskegon; two brothers, Randy (Julie) Grinwis of N. Muskegon and Jack Grinwis of Muskegon; cousin, Doug (Sue) Petersen of NM; many nieces and nephews; two surrogate sons, Dan Bosma and Wayne Hacker. He was preceded in death by his father. Richard had retired from Haworth and was working at Hunt's Hardware in Whitehall. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and disc golf along with music and spending time with his family. Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life Gathering will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 13, 2016 at Fricano"s Hideaway Lounge located at 1050 W. Western Ave. Memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society.
