Richard W. Piasecki's Obituary
Richard W. Piasecki, age 83, passed away on Saturday, February 13, 2016. He was born in Muskegon on August 31, 1932 to Walter and Lucille (Gorajec) Piasecki. Richard is survived by his children, Andrew (Vickie) Piasecki, Craig Piasecki, Larry (Sally) Piasecki and Roxanne Piasecki; seven grandchildren; siblings, Joan (Ed) Kling, Mitchell Piasecki, David Piasecki, Carol (Norm) Moss, and Len (Donna) Piasecki; many nieces and nephews. Richard had retired from Federal Mogul where he had worked as a machinist. He was a U.S. Air Force Veteran of the Korean War, a member of Pulaski Lodge and Grand Rapids Button Box. A memorial service will be held at a later date. The family would like to express their appreciation to all the staff at Sanctuary at the Park and Mercy VNS & Hospice. Richard was proud of his Polish heritage and the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Muskegon Polish Festival, P.O. Box 1431, Muskegon, MI 49443-1431.
