Richard Wesley Boehm "Ric"'s Obituary
Richard Wesley Boehm, "Ric" age 63 was born in Houston, Texas on May 19, 1955 and passed away at home on March 16, 2019. Ric was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas J. and Sonja N. (Haglund) Shapley, Carlos R. Boehm. He is survived by his partner of 32 years, Tim Patulski; daughter, Abbey (Shaun) Norris; step-son, Michael Starkey; grandchildren, Antonio and Shaun III; four siblings, Paula Smith, Clint Shapley, Tom (Cindy) Shapley, M. Nordine Anderson; fur babies, Twister, Crush, Chloe, Ozzy, and Halo; his African Gray Parrot; nieces, nephews and the large extended families of Shapleys and Boehms around the country. Ric was retired from Mercy Health Partners-Hackley Campus. He was the chairman of the Muskegon Kennel Club and a dog show handler for many years. Ric loved gardening, and salt water fish. In his younger years he was an avid bowler at his father and uncles bowling alley, White Lake Lanes. According to his wishes cremation has taken place and a
Celebration of LIfe Gatering will be held on Saturday, August 17, 2019 at home of his sister, Paula Smith, located at 1417 Carleton Street, in Whitehall from 12:00 noon until 3:00 p.m. Please park along Gee Street and follow the sidewalk to Carleton Street. Signs will be posted.
