Richard Schalk's Obituary
Richard L. Schalk age 91 was born in Muskegon, Michigan on May 13, 1930, to the late George and Caroline Schalk and passed away on January 11, 2022. Richard is survived by his wife of nearly 44 years, Darleen Schalk; children, Tom (Barb Palmer) Schalk, Eileen (John) Schrader, Terri (Larry) Williamson, Kim (Ron) Miklosovic, Kristy (Doug) Williams, Tammy Hutson, Brenda (Tim) Malotke; numerous grand and great-grandchildren; sister, Nancy (Bill) Johnson.
Richard is a veteran of the United States Army serving during the Korean War. He worked as an electric motor repairman for 42 years. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, and gardening. According to his wishes cremation has taken place and a private family gathering will be held. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Harbor Hospice Foundation.
