Richard Dale Smith's Obituary
Richard Dale Smith, age 69 was born on March 21, 1949 in Muskegon to the late Dell and Lenetta Smith and passed away at home on January 22, 2019. Along with his parents Richard was preceded in death by his wife of nearly 50 years, Nancy Smith. Surviving are his three children, Ron Smith, Richard (Becky) Smith, and Kerry (David) Boes; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; several siblings including his twin brother, Ronald. Richard was a veteran of the United States Army serving in the Vietnam War. He retired from Hylift after 30 years of service and enjoyed the outdoors, especially during the summer camping trips. According to his wish's cremation has taken place and no services are to be held. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the West Michigan Veteran's Inc. 165 E.
