Richard W. "Buck" Veltman's Obituary
Richard W. Veltman "Buck" age 75 of Allendale and formerly of Muskegon was born May 5, 1944 in Muskegon to the late William and Winnie Veltman and went to be with his Lord on July 21, 2019. Buck is survived by his wife of 55 years, Trudy Veltman; children, Bill (Terri) Veltman, Angie (Mark) Green, Hollie (Kelly) Emerson; grandchildren, Mason Veltman, Wyatt Veltman, Alexandra (Tim) Arndt, McKenzie Hollingsworth, Trevor Green, Veronica (Tim) Kooy, Zak Selley, Jonah Selley, and Olivia Selley; great-grandchildren, MaryKate, Oliver, Elliot and Sunny; brother, Steve (Cheryl) Veltman and a large extended family. Buck was retired from Sealed Power with over 30 years of service. Later he worked for 10 years at the Muskegon Country Club. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and was an avid bowler. He was a past member of the Muskegon Chamber Choir, Evanston Ave. Baptist Church, Lakeshore Baptist Church, Calvary Bible Church, and a current Member of Allendale Baptist Church. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 24, 2019 at Lakeshore Baptist Church, located at 17306 Church Hill Street in Grand Haven. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, also at the church, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Wednesday, one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to Allendale Baptist Church Building Fund, P.O. Box 157, Allendale, Michigan 49401.
