Ricky Lee Rivera's Obituary
Ricky Lee Rivera, age 66 was born on July 9, 1958, in Muskegon, Michigan to the late Jose and Sally Rivera and passed away at home on December 30, 2024. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Aida Farkas; brother, Tony Rivera; brother-in-law, Jose Melgoza; a niece, Elicianna Brown; and three nephews, Oscar Broca III, Alex Reyes, and Angel Reyes. Survivors include his wife, Sandy; children, Robbie (Jasmine), Kyle (Angie); five grandchildren, Addison, Harper, Olivia, Issac and Everleigh; four sisters, Margie (Daniel) Rivas, Angie (Randy) Sheffer, Marianne (Javier) Vega, and Josephine Melgoza; several nieces and nephews; his fishing partner, Richard Manie and close friend, Tim Falzone.
Ricky was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed both fishing and hunting,and was a member of the Holton Gun Club. According to his wishes cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life Gathering will be held on Saturday, February 1, 2025, at Fellowship Church, 4200 E. Apple Ave. Muskegon, Michigan starting at 4:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to the family for their wishes.
