Ricky Walter Sheffer, age 60 was born on July 7, 1961 and passed away on November 4, 2021, in Maple City doing what he loved best, hunting. Rick is survived by his parents, Eugene (Celia) Sheffer, Carol (Donald) Verhoeven; children, Ricky, Justin, and Kayleigh Sheffer; grandchildren, Dakodah, Makayla, Jayden, Cameron, Alexis, and Karson; siblings, Randy (Angela) Sheffer, Russell (Becky) Sheffer, and Robin (Rodney) Stenberg; step-siblings, Ray (Shelley) Murray, Rick (Shawn) Murray, Don (Rita) Verhoeven, Mark (Tammy) Verhoeven, Julie Clements; nieces and nephews, Christopher (Melissa) Sheffer, Jessica (Matt) Wier, Derrick (Dorothy) Sheffer, Desera (Sean) Sheffer, Joshua (Danielle) Stenberg, Jared (Carey) Stenberg and their children. Extended families, LaDonna and her family and Momma Ronda and the Velazquez family. Rick was preceded in death by the mother of his children, Julie (Bird) Sheffer.
Rick had worked as a machinist at Grand Haven Steel, he left behind many special friends and family members that will miss him very much. According to his wishes cremation has taken place. Due to COVID restrictions a Celebration of Life will be held later.
