Robert A. Barnes' Obituary
Robert A. Barnes, Age 83 of Pullman, Michigan passed away November 22, 2023, in Twin Lake, Michigan.
He was preceded in death by his parents Harold and Jessie Barnes, brothers Richard and Mike Barnes, sister Judy Ferrell.
He is survived by his children Colleen Barnes of Twin Lake, Michigan, Shawn Barnes of San Antoino, Texas, Greg (Julie) Barnes of Holton, Michigan, and several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Sisters, Jackie (Gary) Teja of Bitley, Michigan and Pat McKellips of Fennville, Michigan.
He worked several jobs over the years including owning and operating Barnes Hair Fashion in Pullman, Michigan.
He was an avid golfer and pool player but his passion above all was planes (experimental aircraft). He was a member of the EAA (Experimental Aircraft Association) since 1974. He also introduced his father, children and a few of his grandchildren to the experience of the EAA AirVenture in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. He was also associated with the VFW Veterans Organization.
Robert will be missed by his loved ones along with extended family and friends.
According to Robert's wishes a cremation has taken place.
