Robert S. Gordon, Sr.'s Obituary
Robert S. Gordon Sr. age 93 was born August 20, 1926 in Scottville, Michigan to the late Percy M. and Pearle H. (Pappe) Gordon and passed away on February 27, 2020.
Robert is survived by his wife of over 70 years, Carolyn Gordon; four children, Thomas (Claudia) Gordon, Judy (Mark) Geeting, Wayne (Cindy) Gordon, Susan LaNore (Larry); daughter-in-law, Debra Gordon; several grand, and great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Along with his parents Robert was preceded in death by four sons, Bill and Bruce in infancy, Robert Gordon Jr., Brian Gordon and two grandchildren Tammy Geeting Sanford and Scott Gordon.
Robert was a veteran of the United States Army serving during World War II and a member of the Don Rea VFW Post 8846 in North Muskegon. He was a retired Teamster Truck Driver, who enjoyed working in his garden and spending time watching his grandchildren. He was a kind and Gentle man with a great sense of humor.
According to his wishes cremation has taken place and private family services will be held. Interment will be in Custer Cemetery, Custer, Michigan.
