Roger L. Billman's Obituary
Mr. Roger Leroy Billman, age 76, passed away on Friday, February 7, 2014. Roger was born in Roscommon, MI on September 30, 1937 to Ivan and Hazel (Kolka) Billman. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Mildred (Howlett); children, Paula (Ferman) Carroll of Muskegon, Brian Billman of Muskegon, Kevin Billman and Craig Billman, both of Hesperia; seven grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Beatrice Hanson of Warren, MI and Janet (Phil) Osterman of East Jordan, MI; several nieces and nephews; special friend, Shelly Witherspoon of Muskegon. Roger was preceded in death by his parents and by a brother, Richard Lee Billman. He had worked at GTE in Muskegon for 34 years retiring in 1991. Roger enjoyed deer hunting with the family. According to his wishes cremation has taken place and there will be no services. Memorial contributions can be made to the American Heart Association.
