Ronald Max Pearce's Obituary
Ronald Max Pearce, age 88 was born on April 7, 1934, and passed away on April 17, 2022. Ronald was born in Muskegon to the late Edwin C. and Lillian (Kile) Pearce. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by two sons, David, and Greg; sisters-in-law, Betsy (Gene "Rocky") Roccabruna, Martha Willis; and brother-in-law, Mike Hagar. Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Nancy; two children, Patricia (Dan Vallier) Mercer, of Norton Shores, and Donald (Rose Reyes Marez) Pearce; grandchildren, Jeff Pearce, Jennifer Fay (Brett) Sruba, Samantha Mercer, Dannielle (Zach) James, Dylan Pearce, Ian Pearce, Donavan Pearce, and Addison Pearce; eight great-grandchildren, Kyler Mercer, Kendall Eickhoff, Brooklyn Mercer, Ethan James, Isabella James, Grace James, Evelyn Sruba and Adrienne Sruba; brother-in-law, Russell Hagar; numerous nieces and nephews.
Ron is a veteran of the United States Army, and a member of the American Legion Post #9. He volunteered at the LST 393 for 8 years. Ron was an avid bowler along with being a lifetime Detroit Tiger Fan. According to his wish's cremation has taken place. Ron and Nancy are longtime members of St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 3252 E. Apple Ave. where a Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, May 6, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. Memorial contributions may be directed to West Michigan Veterans Inc. 165 E.
