Ronald Dale Uganski's Obituary
Ron D. Uganski, age 80, was born in Muskegon, Michigan on June 5, 1942, to the late John and Leona (Schmiedeknecht) Uganski and passed away on March 5, 2023. Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Joyce Uganski; children, Cheryl (Doug) Towery; son R.J. (Amie) Uganski; two grandchildren, Alex Towery and Emily Towery; brother, Jerry (Teresa) Uganski. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by a brother John (Sandy) Uganski.
Ron was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He retired from Verplank Coal and Dock in Ferrysburg. Ron was a longtime active member of St. Mark Lutheran Church. He enjoyed playing cards and was an avid football fan of both the Detroit Lions and especially the Muskegon Big Reds and Detroit Tiger Baseball.
According to his wishes cremation has taken place and no services are planned. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to St. Mark Lutheran Church 4475 Henry Street, Norton Shores, Michigan 49441.
