Ronald G. VanderWall's Obituary
Ronald G. "Ron"? VanderWall of Muskegon was born on May 26, 1939 in Shelby, Michigan to the late Neil G. and Gertrude (Vannette) VanderWall and passed away under the loving care of Hospice and his family on April 13, 2017. Ron is survived by his wife of 60 years, Martha; three children, Mitchell (Vicki) VanderWall, Annette (Chuck) VanderWall-Sterling, Bradley VanderWall; siblings, Joyce (Don) Mulder, Kenneth (Shirley) VanderWall, Jane (Russ) Menace; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren. Ron was preceded in death by a son, Richard Allen VanderWall in infancy. He was retired from the North Muskegon Police Department after 18 years of service. Ron was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, gardening and especially fishing. He was a longtime member of Fifth Reformed Church, 2330 Holton Road, where a Celebration of Life Service will be held on Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. the Reverend Scott Vanarendonk officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to the Building Fund at Fifth Reformed Church. In honor of Ron please consider bringing a non-perishable food item to the service for the food panty at Fifth Reformed Church.
