Rosemary "Mimi" George's Obituary
Rosemary "Mimi" George age 67 was born on December 16, 1952 in Muskegon, Michigan to the late Floyd W. and T. Mary (Polifronio) Hepworth and passed away on June 26, 2020. Along with her parents, Rosemary was preceded in death by her husband of 37 years, Tim George; a brother, Floyd Hepworth Jr. and brother-in-law, Wayne Secrest. Rosemary is survived by her children, Kris Lindsley, Dan (Theresa) Kammers, Karen (Andy) Myers, Kimberly (Rory Fox) George, Tim George Jr., Bailey George and Damien George; grandchildren, Brett (Brandi) Kammers, Brittanie Kammers, Brandon Lindsley, Adam Belmarez, Xavier Belmarez, Nicholas Kammers, Isabella Behling, Bianca Kammers, Madeline Myers, Andrew Myers, Kenneth Melton, and Kyro Fox, Rory Fox Jr., Desiree Fox, Daven Fox; great-grandchildren, Lillyanna Kammers, Symphoni Kammers, Brett Kammers Jr., Mariyah Melton; sisters, Glenna (Michael) Castagna, and Jacolyn Secrest. Rosemary loved cooking, feeding everyone and everything. She was the Dr. Doolittle of the neighborhood. She enjoyed fishing, camping, casino trips with Tim, along with spending time with her family. She also worked as a BINGO volunteer for over 20 years.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 2, 2020 at All Shores Wesleyan Church, 15550 Cleveland Street, Spring Lake, Michigan 49456, Pastor Dave Boomgaard officiating. Visitation will be held outdoors at the church one-half hour prior to the service from 10:30 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. An outdoor visitation will also be held on Wednesday, July 1, 2020 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Shoreline Memorial Services, 137 E. Laketon Ave. Muskegon.
Interment will be next to her husband Tim at Lakeside Cemetery, Muskegon. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to the family in care of Kimberly George.
