Rudolph S. Sokolowski "Rudy"?, age 80, of Spring Lake, MI passed away at his home on October 2, 2015. He was born on February 18, 1935 to the late Adolph and Beulah Sokolowski. Rudy is survived by his wife of 58 years, Marilyn; children, Greg (Barbara Zysk) Sokolowski; Steve (Sandy) Sokolowski, Shanna (Michael) Retzlaff; grandson, Brian (Emily) Retzlaff; sister, Mary Cassidy; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Ted & Bertha Ruch; several nieces and nephews. Rudy served in the United States Navy during the Korean War. He retired from Brunswick after 37 years of service. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and was fondly referred to as the "Rhubarb Man"?. According to his wishes cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held. Contributions may be directed to Harbor Hospice
