Sara Lou Fredericks' Obituary
Sara Lou Fredericks, 52 of Whitehall passed away suddenly on Wednesday January 18, 2023. Sara was born on September 10, 1970, to the late Leon George Fredericks and Mary Ann Fredericks (Duncan). Sara worked in Shipping and Receiving since she was 16yrs old. She was employed by Howmet Corporation for over 30 years and most recently by Michigan Spring and Stamp. Sara was known to all as very kind and caring, she had a very generous and giving heart. She was most happy when spending time with family and friends. Sara impacted the lives of many, especially the many children she treated as her own, she was in a sense a mother to all. She enjoyed cooking and was an avid reader.
Sara is preceded in death by her parents, Leon Fredericks, Mary Ann Fredericks (Duncan), her nephew Bruce Hager and niece Denise Scheaffer. She is survived by her son Zackarey Fredericks-Wilson, her bonus son Corey (Ashlyn) Grammer, sisters and brother; Lou Ann Creach, George (Jolene) Fredericks, Terry Scheaffer, Cara (Brian) Evans. Nieces and nephews; Teresa (Gregory) McKay, Dylon (Theresa) Hager, April (Jesse) Stewart, Jimmy Fredericks, Josie Fredericks, Chelsey (Carter) Poniatowski, Aric Stewart, Andrew Hager and Ali Hager as well as many cousins.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 29, 2023, at the American Legion Algot Johnson Post #69, located at 803 E. Colby Street, Whitehall, Michigan 49461. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to help her son with the cost of services and other expenses.
