Scott A. Skidmore's Obituary
Scott Allen Skidmore, age 62, passed away on Wednesday, June 7, 2023. Scott was born in Muskegon on October 23, 1961, to Paul and Kathleen Skidmore. He is survived by his siblings; Cindy (Robert) Smith of Muskegon, Jeffrey Skidmore of Winchester, NV and Bruce (Alaina) Skidmore of Muskegon; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Scott suffered a diving accident at the age of 16. He worked hard to catch up and graduate with his high school class. Scott had owned and operated the Video Plus store in Muskegon for many years.
No services are planned at this time. The burial will take place at Ottawa Center Cemetery in Coopersville. Memorial contributions can be made to the Orchard View Elementary PTO, 2310 Marquette Avenue, Muskegon, MI 49442.
The family of Scott would like to thank everyone for the care and support that was given to him. The last months were very difficult. Thanks to the Lansing Medi-Lodge, McLaren Hospital, Sparrow Hospital and LTAC and staff.
