Sharon E. Young's Obituary
Sharon Elizabeth Young was born on November 9, 1947 to John H DeYoung Sr. and Maxine Lawson DeYoung. She passed on September 16, 2018. Sharon attended Muskegon Senior High School and obtained an Associates Degree from Baker College. She married James Young on February 14, 1981 and he preceded her in death in 2016. Sharon worked for Fashion Bug and several insurance agencies. Since her stroke, she had limited ability, but enjoyed adult coloring books and had colored many lovely pictures. Sharon was witty and had a great sense of humor. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, and by her brother, John H. DeYoung Jr. She is survived by her sons, Jeffrey (Amy) and Mark A. Rundquist; her granddaughters, Sarah (Tim Wilbur) Rundquist and Carolanne (Nicholas Gerencer) Rundquist; her step children, Kathy (Rodger) Sova and Mark (Jennifer) Young and their families; her sister Carol (Donald) Verhoeven; a special niece, Robin Stenberg and many other relatives.
A Celebration Luncheon will be held at 1:00 on Sunday, October 7, 2018, at Arlington Woods, 3785 Evanston Ave., Muskegon, MI 49442
